We are a family owned business located in Sammamish, Washington.

Our mission is to provide high quality services, education, and conservation resources to our local community about honey bees and native pollinators. We breed European honey bees, leafcutter bees, and blue orchard mason bees.

We offer apiary tours (families with kids are welcome!), honey tasting classes, beekeeper training, and swarm removal services in the Greater Seattle area, including Redmond, Bellevue, Sammamish, and Issaquah.

The Iron Bee Apiary is owned and operated by Jacob Hodgen. He is a certified Master Beekeeper through Cornell University.
