Located in Sammamish, the Iron Bee Apiary is Washington's premier destination for guided beehive tours, honey bee experiences, and award-winning honey tastings.

Our fully hands-on apiary tours specialize in creating safe spaces for discovery so children and families can encounter honey bees up close and personal and experience the magic of engaging with a friendly superorganism.

We also offer honey bee swarm removal services, beekeeper training, and pollinator education classes in the Greater Seattle area, including Redmond, Bellevue, Sammamish, and Issaquah.

The Iron Bee Apiary is owned and operated by Jacob Hodgen. Jacob is a certified Master Beekeeper through Cornell University. He shares his time with the bees while also working as a technical project manager in the tech industry.
